The Eye of Buffalo (Exploring Buffalo, NY, Through Photography)
To create this gallery, our students had to travel to different local locations, including the Botanical Gardens, the waterfront, and the Albright-Knox art gallery. They purposely went off the beaten path at times in order to take a distinctive shot. One of these notable photos is Tyrell Gulley’s, “The Eye of Buffalo.” This is a photo of Buffalo’s Central Terminal—the abandoned train station—from an artistic angle. Buffalo is known for its experimental architecture. Several photos in this gallery display that fact, but none better than Vincent Dimo’s photo, “Market Arcade.”
