Join IndicatorArt for ONLINE (Zoom) art classes beginning Monday, January 22, 2024 – February 12, 2024 at 3:30 PM EST.
• Open to non-speaking students only
• Price: $190.00 per student (supplies not included)

Discover Online Group Workshops

Conducted via Zoom by a professional art teacher
Consists of 4-one hour classes, occuring on the same day/time over the course of four consecutive weeks
There are 7-8 students in each workshop
The cost is $190.00 per student--not including the art supplies
Students do not need to have any kind of art background (See "Our Creative Process")
Students will need to purchase paint, canvas, and other supplies needed to complete the workshop. We will provide a detailed list and as much additional support as needed
Students work in professional grade ACRYLIC paint and on stretched canvas
The creative goal of each workshop is to complete at least one painting that will be displayed and discussed in an online art critique

The Art Critique

We are fostering a supportive community of artists who create significant and relevant work. This is best displayed in our art critiques. Once you see a critique, you won’t be able to unfeel it!

The Online critiques are conducted via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out a few days in advance and can be shared with anyone the student would like to invite. All are welcome!
Students have an opportunity to discuss their work verbally on their own, in the chat room, or by having someone else read a prepared statement. This is their platform. It is an open forum. We do not censure thoughts and ideas
For each critique, we create a different panel of professionals from the visual art community who share their thoughts on each painting. In the past, we have had many different artists serve on the panel from all over the country, including artists who are internationally recognized and have paintings in the permanent collection of art museums, like the Smithsonian, the National Gallery of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
After both the student and individuals on the panel speak about each piece, we open up the conversation to everyone else in attendance
While many of our students choose to keep their paintings, they are given the opportunity to put their paintings up for sale during the critique
